About the Project

  • The project focuses on the application of technologies for the production of stable food ingredients carrying beneficial microorganisms, suitable for incorporation in end-products and able to maintain high cell viability during their shelf-life.

    Budget: 240.000€
  • -Validation and optimization of technology for the production of "stable" food ingredients enriched with beneficial microorganisms.

    - Development of three different types of food ingredients enriched with beneficial microorganisms.

    - Production of at least three standard foods using the enriched ingredients.

    - Public information on the development and properties of the final products.

  • - Creating opportunities for commercial and commercial exploitation of intermediate and final products.

    - Development of new food ingredients – health promoting carriers for the food industry.

    - Development of new, beneficial to human health foods.

    - Developing a culture of research, creativity and innovation.
